Legislature rejects funding for new state veterinary school
The Joint Finance Committee voted 8-6 against adding 728000 to the 2.83 million package for the proposed UW veterinary school for 1981-83. UW System President ONeil had urged about 4.9 million. at 3.5 million, the satellite clinic at River Falls would open six months late as construction starts.
