Twenty two independence seeking rebels were killed and 44 captured in three clashes with Foreign Legion troops in southeast Algeria over the past two days, according to French authorities reported Thursday.
A public hearing on selling 19 acres of river front land to Bartlett and Co of Omaha is set for April 25 at 3 30 pm. The land, owned by the Water Works, lies between the water plant and the Illinois Central Railroad Bridge along the Missouri River with about 1600 feet of levee frontage.
