Break In Four Business Places Reported
Four business establishments were broken into and an attempt was made to enter a fifth. At the America Feed Milling company burglars used a chisel to break a safe lock and ransacked the office. The Council Bluffs Seed company had the safe combination knocked off but could not access it and drawers were rifled. Farm Bureau Service office saw the combination pried but the safe remained closed. Thomas Durick grocery had a broken window pane entry and a partial cash drawer theft. Mortensen grocery failed to gain entry after breaking a rear window.
