DES MOINES Iowa Tax Commission reports four major revenue sources including individual and corporation income taxes and sales and use taxes rose by 3 610 751 for the fiscal year ending June 30. Sales tax for July 2 totaled 355 148 358 up 1 395 170 from 1954. Personal income tax brought in 22 061 404 an increase of 1 180 583 and use taxes reached 10 512 658, with car sales contributing 6 505 408. Corporation taxes rose to 2 337 449, up 79 139.

McConnell Resigns as City Manager To Move South
