The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Council Bluffs plan a two day citywide scrap paper and tin can collection on July 10 and 11. RB Br O'Brien county salvage chairman announced the effort with Col Robert Reed coordinating public relations and 12 army trucks and six drivers. Capt J J Bachman of the state guard lined up remaining drivers as well. The city divides into four sections with one day per section. Residents are asked to save scrap paper bundling it and flatten tin cans before placing them for pickup.
