GOP Elects Treasurer Kemper for National Committee

James S Kemper an insurance executive from Chicago was elected treasurer of the Republican National Committee by the Republican National Committee's executive panel in Chicago. He succeeds Josiah Todd of Louisville who resigned. Kemper previously chaired the national finance committee and was named by Representative D. Carroll Reece of Tennessee to fill the treasury post.

Ballinger Says Confession Intended to Shoot Neighbor
