KOJE ISLAND Korea AP tough U S para troopers cracked a communist prisoner of war rebellion in a 214 hour battle at compound 76. Thirty one prisoners were killed in the fighting. An American was killed and 14 wounded. Autopsies showed 12 prisoners were killed by fellow reds with crude spears and one American died by spear rather than a concussion grenade.
