Lost Thayer Boy Found in Thicket After Night Search
Jimmy Beardsley, a 7 year old from Thayer, wandered off at 7 30 p m Sunday while looking for a kitten. More than 60 neighbors searched a square mile around the Clifford Arnold farm and found him just after dawn along Burlington tracks half a mile from the Arnold home. He was unhurt though damp from overnight rain. Sheriff J R Ewing credited the successful search to community effort and credited Cecil Clayton for locating the boy.
