About 35 percent of the nations 8 553 200 B card motorists will qualify for more supplementary gasoline when the ration ceiling rises to 680 miles a month on June 11. OPA estimates around 3 600 000 B card holders need higher regional ceilings. The 640 mile uniform maximum will replace current top allotments. East 325, Midwest 475, far west 400. The increase depends on occupational driving needs but total rations cannot exceed the new call ing. B drivers already served should not apply.
