After an hour of heated tempers the city hall review board readjusted the 1945 assessment on nine West End lots at Aldine Court from 1 16 to 3000 dollars.
The Board of Education voted to hire Kimball Peterson and associates to oppose an injunction over reappraisal of Gry property by the Cleminshaw appraisal engineers. Omaha Standard Body owner Myles Standash filed the suit naming the school board city and county. The session adjourned with about half the members absent and roughly 29 000 properties to be reassessed, potentially boosting total assessments from about 20 million to near 35 million if Cleminshaw figures are adopted.
