SIOUX CITY A. Clay Darling 54 Parker 80 who was to take office Jan 1 as Turner county judge died Tuesday night at a hospital. Darling was an outstanding layman in the Methodist church and had attended sessions of the general Methodist conference for the last 12 years.
The United States aircraft carrier Tarawa and destroyers Hawkins and Dennis J. Bradley arrived in Colombo on Wednesday for a visit and will stay until January 2.
