Four people were injured when their car overturned on County Road C about three-quarters of a mile north of Treynor after passing another vehicle. Driver Cecil Max Scott, 22, Macedonia, suffered a back injury. in Mercy Hospital Monday his condition was listed as good. Passenger Harry L. Beaton, 23, Macedonia, had a possible basal skull or neck fracture and was in fair condition. Conrad Filling, 22, and Leo Merbert, 13, both of Macedonia, sustained cuts and bruises and were released. Sheriff’s officers said Scott struck loose gravel after passing another car, causing the crash.
