Merle Peterson, 40, of route 4 Council Bluffs, suffered a injured right hip Sunday night at the Union Pacific mail terminal. He was standing on a mail truck and stepped onto another that moved, causing him to fall against a mail car and to the platform. Peterson was taken to Jennie Edmunson hospital by the Emery Reney unit in guarded condition Monday.
