Four Navy helicopters rescued the last crewmen from the U S Navy refriger ator ship Grommert Reefer off Leghorn Italy after it ran aground and broke in two. Fire drives coeds from Currier Hall on campus
About 200 coeds were forced from Currier Hall, a women's dorm at the State University of Iowa, when a fire broke out Monday night in a fourth story room. Firemen contained the blaze to the room occupied by Adele Lazar and Eileen Briscow. Curtains burned from candles on a window sill. no one was in the room. Most of the 600 residents were out for meals when it happened.
