First Holiday Formal Dance for City Children Charity
Council Bluffs Service League hosted the first formal Christmas dance at Hotel Chieftain to raise funds for local charity. Members, mostly young mothers, dedicate hours yearly to projects like making aprons and driving for crippled children. The league budgets 1605 dollars for Council Bluffs charity and contributed 1500 dollars to Mercy Hospital.
