A move curtailing Oregon mail at the Council Bluffs Terminal will be reviewed by Washington postal authorities. Rep Ben Jensen says Assistant Postmaster General John C Allen will dispatch a postal inspector to study the docks here after a carload of raw mail lay unworked for hours. Jensen and six Postal Transportation Service clerks, plus railroad mail handlers, are involved in the meeting at the Hotel Chieftain. Allen conceded he was unaware of the lag before the inspector will assess operations at the terminal post office.
