Kansas City police chase leads as a blood stained auto with ripped clothing is found, signaling a kidnapping and possible murder of Mrs. Allen. Her husband, car dealer, and two sons mourn as investigators pursue theories of an isolated-kidnap and disposals.
The New Hampshire Legislature approved a two million dollar state sweepstakes based on horse races at Rockingham Park with profits earmarked for education. Governor Lane Dsinell indicated support. Tickets could cost five dollars with top prizes near twenty five thousand dollars. the Senate passed it 13 to 10 and the House earlier 166 to 141.
Four persons were hospitalized in Jen n ie Edmundson Memorial Hospital after a one car crash on Highway 30 two and a half miles north of Missouri Valley. Miss Goldie Cowman of Wichita Kansas drove into a bridge while attempting to pass a truck. All four injured were reported in good condition. Cowman suffered fractured ribs. Her mother Ejjen Cowman 79 had a fractured left elbow and possible skull fracture while her father Rev Carus Cowman had bruises. Sister Mary Carter 66 of Chapman Kansas also had three fractured ribs.
ST LOUIS Motor boat built by two Little Rock men set a record for the 1050 mile Mississippi River from New Orleans to St Louis. Despite motor trouble after hitting a sand bar the craft finished at the St Louis Yacht Club dock at 10 am CST after 32 hours 33 minutes.

Mrs. Charles Blodgett of Des Moines died of bulbar polio Thursday night in a Des Moines hospital. She had been admitted for treatment July W. This marked the first polio death in Des Moines this year.
In Council Bluffs a pedestrian, William E Christensen, 121 Union St, is slated to be booked on a jaywalking charge after being struck Thursday afternoon by Virgil E Schickner’s westbound car at West Broadway near Scott St. Christensen, hospitalized with cuts and bruises, was struck as he crossed. Schickner was booked for investigation of a personal injury accident and released amid a police crackdown on jaywalkers.
Larry Mendenhall, 71, of 2420 Ave Mule C, was cited for speeding by Traffic Officer Danielsen while en route downtown. Moments later after parking, officers Morrow and Petersen issued a second ticket for jaywalking. Mendenhall posted $20 bond for Municipal Court on Saturday.

Robert H Johnson suggests scrapping all state aid to taxpayer groups and proposes replacing school aid with basic educational costs funded by local districts. He cites Iowa farmers paying a large share of property taxes and estimates a 39 million dollar savings from eliminating exemptions and aid, with basic costs costing 90 to 100 million.

A Convair twin engine airliner from American Airlines crashed near Fort Leonard Wood Missouri killing all 30 aboard. Pilot Captain Hugh Barron of Tulsa Oklahoma attempted an emergency landing after engine trouble as witnesses described flames and a wing separating before the craft plunged into a timbered area near Forney Airport. Army officials said the plane was on a normal approach when it disintegrated.
Moscow 2 Premr Bulganin said Friday the government will study President Eisenhower's proposal for an exchange of military information and mutual aerial inspection. He told the Supreme Soviet that Soviet Russia prefers its own disarmament plan but will consider other sincere plans as Eisenhower's proposal remains under consideration. The Soviet Union seeks to bring positions closer and reach agreement, the premier asserted.
