Gen Mark W Clark announced at the national counter intelligence corps convention that the U S Army will adopt new training methods to cut division readiness time from about 15 months to nine months. National guard divisions may finish training in five to six months, under the plan. Draftees will be trained to know their role and to be ruthless and able to kill in defense.
Unverified reports from Tokyo claim Soviet Vice Premier Molotov met with Mao Zedong and Kyuichi Tokuda in Beijing weeks ago.
