Officials of the locally owned Council Bluffs Transit Company advance a switch to all bus service as streetcars continue under a 30 day contract. A 1 year franchise was approved by voters 5039 yes to 4283 no with 12 spoiled ballots. Bus operations could start by late August with 33 buses expected. Glenwood man W Ray Close 24 was killed when a light two seat plane crashed four miles east of Glenwood about 6 45 p m Tuesday.
