One New Case In Polio Ward In Mercy Hospital
Southwest Iowa polio tally rises to 91 with a single new case at Mercy hospital on Monday. Leonard Powell, 15, son of Mr and Mrs Lee Powell of Missouri Valley, is the new patient admitted in Harr son county. Two patients were discharged from the crowded ward, reducing Mercy ward occupancy to 33. Dixie Dent, 3, daughter of Mr and Mrs Dennis Dent of Harlan, admitted July 24, and Dean Jensen, 4, son of Mr and Mrs Earl Jensen of Shelby, admitted July 21, were released.

Zephyr Engineer Performs Miracle on Derailed Train
