Ameen Meets A Tragic Death In Bridge Work Accident
Edward Ameen a Swedish native aged about 47 was killed instantly at 8 30 am Monday when a 12 by 12 timber six feet long fell from a bridge 180 feet high striking him on the head as he stood at the bottom. The timber tore off the top of his skull. the body was moved to Cottonwood and shipped to Spokane for burial. No blame was placed. The crew mourned the loss of a trusted workman who had only worked half an hour.

13 Year Old Girl Dies in Fenn District
Rosamund Spengler aged 13, daughter of Charles and Mrs Spengeler, prominent Fenn farmers, died at home Saturday morning from liver complication and bronchial pneumonia. Born May 18 1908 near Fenn Idaho she endured four months of illness with courage. Funeral at home Monday 10:80 conducted by Rev Cass Cottonwood. Survived by parents two brothers and two sisters. Interment Denver cemetery. undertaker Nau Cottonwood.

Jury Discharges After Short Deliberation
The district court jury was discharged last Monday after three hours of deliberation in the Thos Lindsey case. Guilty pleas were entered by J. D. Page and Alvin H. Mrs. Lolo May Swank of Oro Fino widow of Clay Swank has sent her papers to the treasury department for war risk insurance and pension for herself and infant daughter born six months after the July 1920 death. The father died from injuries in France and the claim, aided by Senator Borah, secured compensation for widow and child.
