Soldier Bert in France Meets Old Friend Vern Dye

Chronicle Raises Yearly Subscriptions to Two Dollars

Cottonwood Band to Stage June 14 at Orpheum
The Cottonwood band plans an entertainment and dance at the Orpheum next Friday June 14 to raise funds for band equipment. Admission 85 cents for the Black person show and 50 cents for the dance. A 30 minute concert with a fourteen piece called band, specials and a farce. A live rooster will be auctioned for the Red Cross. A street parade at 7 30 features a live elephant.
