Decision Effects Warehouses Sets Idaho Precedent
In Latah county a district court verdict sets a new standard for wheat stored in Idaho warehouses. The Mark P. Miller Milling Company, Moscow, sued Wren & Greenough Land Company of Fenn for the value of two 1,000 bushel warehouse tickets issued December 1918. The jury awarded Miller 5200 dollars. the court ruled a warehouse cannot deliver grain without surrendered tickets and is liable for the grain or its value.
