Aged Lady Dies After Long Illness in Cottonwood Home
Elizabeth Hursman born 1842 in Lohne Germany came to the United States in 1873. She married Frank Deters in 1874 in Cincinnati and lived in Covington Kentucky Myers Grove Minnesota before settling in Cottonwood in 1901 with her daughter. She died January 8 after a six year decline. Survived by two children Mrs. John Engel and Henry RB Deters, one sister and eight grandchildren. Funeral Monday at Catholic church conducted by Rev Willibrord. undertaker Nau in charge.
