Auctioneer Harry Cranke conducted a sale one mile northwest of Cottonwood drawing an exceptionally large crowd. Everything offered sold well as buyers from across the county attended. First National Bank handled clerical work with Tom Parker and Ira Robertson representing the bank. The Walsers plan to move to New York State to be with relatives and establish a new home, with a prediction they will return west within a year.

Mrs. Elizabeth Tannatt widow of General T. C. Tannatt and mother of E. Tannatt founder of the Cottonwood Report, later Cottonwood Chronicle, died at Spokane last Sunday. Mr. Tannatt, editor of the Chronicle 27 years ago, is now surveying in Pierce county, Washington. Many old timers remember the parties.

Meyer Buys Land Near Cottonwood on Ferdinand Road
John Meyer of the Cottonwood Milling and Elevator Co. bought 40 acres of highly improved land one mile from Cottonwood on the Ferdinand road from Mike Seubert. Meyer plans to move onto the property and make it his home. The sale price was not disclosed.

Four Miles of Concrete Walks Transform Nezperce Town
