The Washington township Sunday school convention, led by Vice President W H Trotter, convened in Valley City on September 8 to organize a first convention. Samuel Mounts led opening singing and prayer, with discussions on running effective Sunday schools and attendance. W H Jack, David Mounts and G R Gwartney were chosen to plan the next meeting in Amsterdam on the first Saturday in October.
