Coroner Probes Death of 12 Year Old Charles Franzell
Coroner Duncan investigates the death of Charles Franzell twelve of Howard Station who died at St Anthony s Hospital September 2 from a fractured skull. The hospital and physician did not report the case to authorities. John B Ratterman embalmed and shipped the boy to Sloward Station after he was brought to the hospital September 1 by an unknown person claiming an accident on a Louisville wagon. Dr Duncan intends a thorough inquiry and blames the hospital for failing duty.

West Point Boy Fatally Crushed by Wagon Wheels
