Work at the DePauw stone quarries will resume soon. Mr Heuser a DePauw blacksmith has moved to his farm. A large straw stack owned by Anderson Routh burned last Thursday night. Oakwood school reunion drew a large crowd and good times were had. Mr George Conrad visits Blackcorner and plans return home soon. Last Saturday night a severe storm wrecked hay stacks fences and caused other damage locally. Mr John Pinaire of Leavenworth Kansas has returned home after visiting relatives. Mr Adolph Colon and Miss Sophia Bocard were married last week by Rev Endris Frenchtown.
