The inventory features Ladies Union Suits and Shirts at one dollar, 50 cent Shirts and Drawers, storm flannel, calico, Toques and Fascinators at deep discounts, embroidered linens, blankets, pillow slips, white waistings, and dress fabrics priced well below previous levels.
A Harrison county editorial charges Mr Self with traveling and hiring aides to bolster Republican campaigns, contrasting his office expenses with Democratic-era costs. It claims salaries rose 4,700 dollars under Self, totaling 10,200 and cites overall state and national spending increases to urge voters against Tuesday’s ballot.
