Indictment and conviction in Craycroft burglary case
Grand jury indicts Svan Craycroft for burglary and receiving stolen goods from W H Keller Co. He is convicted and sentenced to the Jeffersonville Reformatory for one to fourteen years plus a fine of 80 dollars and disfranchisement. Watches and clothes valued at 25 to 40 items were stolen August 8. Craycroft implicated Henry Harris, a stranger, who eluded capture. Thirteen watches found with Louisville pawnbrokers. owners to recover items.
