The Corydon Railroad Meeting Sees Large Support
The Corydon railroad meeting last Saturday drew many participants and strong sentiment toward funding. Speakers Judge T. C Slaughter Hon S. K. Wolfe and David Jorden urged immediate subscriptions, noting the line would pass via Corydon only with at least 80 000 in stock and that 50 000 had been pledged, leaving an 30 000 gap to reach two weeks later the planned December 4 meeting.
