Local shop offers a selection of discounted goods in the Annex display area. Included are household items, textiles, and small appliances with reduced prices for a limited time. Staff invite customers to browse, with some items marked down further during weekend hours.
Frank E. Watson, Clara Armstrong, and John Huckelberry were injured in a Louisville streetcar wreck at Twenty fifth and Market streets. Watson sustained severe injuries including two fractured ribs and knee damage, while Armstrong and Huckelberry suffered bruises. Dr. Aubrey Jones treated the injured near the scene.
Mrs Delia Cline wife of Sherrill Caine died last Wednesday in Indianapolis of spinal meningitis at her parents home aged twenty one Her husband and parents accompanied the body to Corydon for burial at Oak Grove church with Rev A P Bentley officiating Interment in the church cemetery Surviving are her husband father mother two brothers and two sisters Burial occurred last Saturday and the family requested hunting be prohibited on their Franklin township farm by Henry Vopt

The Franklin township Farmers Institute will meet in Lanesville on Tuesday December 3 with talks by J A Driscol of Liberty Indiana and Mrs C M Lindley of Salem.
