First M E Church in Corydon Reopens After Remodel
The Methodist Episcopal church, once Simpson Chapel, now the First M E Church, has undergone a five thousand dollar remodeling making it a modern space with three main rooms two anterooms furnace heat and electric light. G A R K P I O I O F M W A donated windows. auditorium features oak seating on a carpeted elevated floor. Rev John D Jeffery started the project with two thousand dollar subscription. Rev H J Black is the current pastor.
