Accidental Shooting Ends Life in Mine Camp

James Holliday of Tungsten died after an automatic revolver, handed by his room mate James Lanyon, discharged as Holliday examined it. Investigations by Sheriff Crain found no intent, with Lanyon present and witnesses nearby at the mining camp. Holliday’s death stems from careless handling of firearms by inexperienced workers. Funeral arrangements and a coroner’s inquiry were considered unnecessary.
