Catherine Jones wins state judging titles at Purdue fair
Catherine Jones led a Harrison county team with Thelma Shireman and Aida Swan in inread and garment judging contests at Purdue University. Jones won first place in both events, with 13 countries represented. The group toured Tippecanoe battlefield and returned to Indianapolis after a week of judging, banquets, and demonstrations.
