Miss Joy Isyrne, daughter of Mr and Mrs O J D Byrne of Byrneville, will serve as a Red Cross nurse in France during the war. She reported from Camp Sherman Ohio and will sail soon from New York with ten others after meeting her Louisville relatives. She is a Louisville trained nurse with substantial experience.

Mrs Cora Minter Dies in Kansas at About 38

Mrs Cora Minter wife of Joseph Minter died April 19 at their Kansas home. She was about thirty eight and survived by her husband six children including a three day old infant. Her maiden name was Agnew and the family formerly lived in Elizabeth before moving west three years ago. Joe Pinaire sells fertilizer from his home and can be contacted at his address.
