Mrs. Hardin H. Littell widow of a former Louis- Ville Railway Company superintendent, and director, died in New Orleans en route from Buffalo to St. Vincent Iowa after an appendectomy. Survived by husband and son Clarence Littell of Buffalo. Formerly Nellie Burton Green of Logansport Indiana.
Mrs. M. E. Harlan secretary of the Christian Womens Board of Missions died at Baptist Hospital St Louis following an operation for peritonitis. Native of New York she came to Indianapolis seven years ago to lead home mission work including Bible chairs in six universities and mission schools in Kentucky Tennessee Virginia and on the western coast. Survived by two sons the body was taken to South Haven Kansas to rest beside her husband.
The note highlights Mrs. Julia Fried Walker of The Educator Journal promoting preservation of the Old State Capitol at Corydon. Her March article and a building picture aim to rally Indiana teachers and citizens to support the state's purchase. Subscriptions to The Educator Journal are encouraged.

Mrs Rine Edmondnes nee Venner aged 50 years 12 days died at 316 East Magnolia St Louisville March 4 1913 after a two year illness due to paralysis. She is buried at St Stephens cemetery with services by Rev W E Miller and H E Figg of Rivers Memorial M E church. She leaves husband Daniel Edmonds and no children. Uncles and Venners survive. last hours described as peaceful. Public notice includes local ads and a humorous shell song item.

Harrison Co Telephone Co. officers attended the semiannual meeting at Lanesville. Mr and Mrs John Phipps visited relatives nearby after years near Bloomington IL.
