Aged Woman Nancy Bottles Dies in Scott Township
Nancy Bottles widow of Thom Bottles died Friday June 23 at the home of Mr and Mrs John W Breeden in Scott township after two weeks bedfast. She lived in the county all her life born June 30 1832. Survived by two daughters Mrs J W Breeden and Mrs J W Trobaugh a son Harve Bottles and many grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday morning at Potato Run conducted by Rev Wm Brandenburg.

Minister Rathenau Assassinated in Berlin Attack

Funeral held at 2 pm Tuesday at family home with Rev W H Howerton and burial at Fairview Cemetery attendance by Corydon group included Van Haber mel and others.

Aged Man DeLus Found Dead Near Evans Landing
Pierre DeLus an elderly county resident was found dead at his family home one mile east of Evans Landing late Saturday afternoon by Louis Brown who cared for him. Born in Alsace in 187? he came to the U S in 1875 and had lived here forty years. Surviving are one son Dr Peter DeLus New Middletown four grandchildren a niece and a nephew. Funeral held at Benna Vista Catholic Church conducted by Rev George Schenk. He was eighty eight.

Child's Leg Fracture Near Corydon
The three year old son of Mr and Mrs Lafe Wolfe southwest of Corydon fractured a leg above the knee last week while playing with a towel. He tripped and fell entangling his feet, resulting in the injury.
