Andrew P. Stonecipher Dies Suddenly at Home Near LaCrosse
Andrew P. Stonecipher died Wednesday July 2 at his LaCrosse area home after a brief illness. He was 57, born August 28, 1855, and married Marietta Kitteriman in 1876. Funeral held at Perseverance Chapel led by Rev. A. P. Denney. He leaves a wife two daughters five sons two brothers three sisters and six grandchildren. He lived most of his life in the county, with a later move to LaPorte County.

Threshing Machine Burned Near Bradford Farm
On Tuesday of last week July 1 a threshing machine burned on Frank Gettelfinger’s Bradford area farm. The machine was destroyed by fire from a hot box and about fifteen bushels of wheat and some straw belonging to Gettelfinger were consumed. Insurance details show Gettelfinger carried Harrison County Mutual coverage and president Jacob A Stevens adjusted the loss at 345.00.
