Remembering Dr. Orlin Venner Former Wesleyan educator dies at Hastings
Dr Orlin H Venner a former Wesleyan University literature professor and Nebraska Presbyterian educator died at Hastings on June 22 1920 the eve of his 57th birthday He will be buried at Broken Bow following services in Lincoln His career included teaching at Wesleyan University directing Presbyterian education in Nebraska and authoring works on Browning His family and friends praise his optimism and lifelong charity toward orphans and students The service will feature his former students carrying his body from the First Presbyterian church and his colleagues will pallbear him. his body to Broken Bow for interment will follow.
