Michael Kopp Sr 86 laid to rest after long life
Michael Kopp Sr aged 86 died after a long life of 63 years of married companionship with Catherine Kopp who preceded him by a month. He and his wife raised 16 children, 12 survive, with 76 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren. The funeral was held Monday at Pleasant Ridge church with many relatives and friends in attendance.

Corydon opened its lecture course with Prof. A. W. Hawks of Baltimore delivering Sunshine and Shadow. The lecture captivated a large Friday evening audience for about an hour and a half, mixing humor with poignant stories like the Newsboy's Christmas Dinner.
