Two Sisters Die in Kentucky Flood Reach
In Mauckport and Meade county Kentucky two sisters died during Ohio River flooding. Elizabeth Love 83 wife of Jesse Love died at Beanblossom home near Mauckport after leaving their home due to swollen waters. Her sister Margaret Shrewsbury died the same day in Meade county Kentucky. Elizabeth's maiden name was Faith and she was daughter of Squire Henry P. Faith. Funeral rites were held at Mt. Zion United Brethren Church near Mauckport.

DIES SUDDENLY NEAR LANESVILLE HERMAN OTT
Herman Ott died suddenly at his home near Lanesville on Sunday morning after several days of illness. He was 26, survived by his widow and three children, and his mother Mrs. Catharine Ott. McKinster's White Wyandottes Triumph at Indiana Show
McKinster Harrisons county's leading poultry raiser won numerous premiums at the Indiana poultry show in Indianapolis last week. His White Wyandotte birds earned first on old pen and young pen, first and third on hen, third on cockerel, second on cockerel, and third and fourth on pullet, plus all Wyandotte club specials and sweepstakes over all. Eldridge praised the birds as exceptionally fine and well prepared for the prize ring.

Marriage of Miss Jessie Lillian Riddle and Mr George Weil
More than one hundred guests attended the wedding at the Methodist church on Wednesday evening February 5. Miss Nettie Briffett played organ music as the couple, escorted by Rev E A Robertson, exchanged vows and ring ceremony. Mrs Weil, daughter of Mr and Mrs William E Riddle, previously worked at the Cumberland Telephone exchange. Mr Weil, from English, studied at Charles Town commercial school and will return to finish his studies.

Longtime attorney Jerry Suddarth of English dies at 57
Hon. Jerry F. Suddarth died at his English home last Saturday night after a prolonged illness. A prominent lawyer and former district attorney from 1888 to 1890, he was Republican candidate for Judge in 1908. Survived by widow, son Curran B. Suddarth, daughter Mrs. N. R. Harrison, and an aged father. Funeral held yesterday conducted by Rev. A. J. Oster with burial in Marengo.
