Gents' Furnishings Sale Slashes Prices Before February First
A local retailer advertises deep cuts on menswear and accessories. Shoppers can buy flannel shirts, underwear, gloves, socks, neckwear, silk mufflers, and wool sweaters at reduced prices. Overcoats and raincoats drop 20 percent, with a large trousers sale and top-tier corduroy pants up to three dollars. Stocks from a top tailor are cleared in four lots.
Jewelry sale with selected clocks and alarm clocks
A local ad offers 10 percent off all jewelry. Eight day cabinet clocks with cathedral gongs strike on the half hour priced from $6.00 to $7.50. An extra fine alarm clock is $4.95 with $1.00 added for a second alarm.
