The Harrison County Office of County Agent elected W Clyde Martin as president, John Gettelfinger as 1st vice president, Julius Russell as 2nd vice president, and dap Turley as treasurer. Directors set fees and meeting dates. a countywide 1921 program covers agricultural education, dairy, poultry, lime and legumes, sheep and wool, fertilizers, seed, livestock tours, potatoes, fruit orchards, farm management, erosion control, home economics, township picnics, and swine breeding with committees appointed to implement projects.

A Christmas service featured a long program of music and readings including choir, recitations, songs by the primary class and intermediate ladies, a Bible story mime, and a telegraph message. Santa delivered thirty five packages to children in the Sunday school after the program.

Death of Mrs Laura Ragaing at Fredericksburge
Mrs Laura Rasains died at her home near Fredericksburge Friday morning December 24 from dropeer and heart trouble. She was sixty, leaves a husband and two sons Thomas and Walter and one daughter. Funeral services were held at Kay's Chapel Saturday December 25 conducted by Rev A L Carney and Rev G C Bond. She was described as a good Christian woman.

Shaffer praises Alstott’s sorghum molasses, notes his own farming history, land values, and that land sells for 425 to 600 dollars an acre. He says winter is mild but below zero, lives forty two miles from Omaha, Nebraska, and reflects on debts and prospects.
