Late Saturday a fire leveled the Red Men and Junior Order of Mechanic Lodges hall on the second floor where the residents Mr and Mrs William Shireman lived. The family escaped unharmed as upper timber collapsed. About two hundred dollars insured. Origin of the blaze unknown. Julius Hughes and James J Swan returned from Washington to visit relatives. Death of Mrs Elma Stonecipher at Riverdale Nebraska
Telegrams notified relatives of Mrs Elma Stonecipher age twenty five wife of William Stonecipher of Riverdale Nebraska. Cause of death was acute Brights disease after illness began Tuesday. She was buried Sunday at Riverdale following a marriage in October 1915 and she was the only child of Mr and Mrs Jerry Watson. She left grieving parents and husband and many friends in the county.
