Local notes from Corydon Indiana cover a heated political campaign with Greenback activity in Seymour, congruent talk of Republicans and Democrats, names such as Kerrinb Douglass and Harrison surface, plus a planned big fox drive near Corydon and a Babcock trial in St. Louis.
Judge Gresham curtailed Republican votes in Indiana by disfranchising fifteen pious loyal party members last week. Morton may view this as a conspiracy to defeat him and will likely take it as a serious issue.
