Merchants announce a dramatic spring stock push with a wholesale price wrecking event. They vow to liquidate the entire winter stock, promising swift, certain, and complete discounts to attract shoppers.
A large shoe sale offers deep cuts across many lines including ladies heavy shoes 90 cents to 1.39, men’s W L Douglas and Crossett models from 3 to 4 dollars, boys and youth pairs from 1.39 to 2.50, and Kip boots around 1.19 to 2.50.
