Attorney Henry H. Richard receives word of his father E. H. Richard’s death on December 21 in Woodward Oklahoma. He would have turned ninety one on February 5 1910. The deceased served as County Treasurer from 1864 to 1868 and was known as "narrison" to leff Corydon in 1870 and did not return to the county.
A Union service for men is planned for next Sunday at 2 30 P M in the U B church. Rev Bartle, pastor of the Christian church, will deliver the address. All Corydon men are urged to attend and bring a neighbor. Rev A B Coxno, pastor.

Carrie A Stonecipher died at her parents home four miles south of Corydon after a four week typhoid illness. Funeral services were held at Pleasant Ridge church on Christmas Day. She was twenty years old, united with the United Brethren church as a child and had lived a faithful Christian life. She leaves her parents, three brothers, three sisters, and many relatives.

Amanda Dowdle died suddenly last Wednesday night at her son George J Dowdle’s home after retiring at nine. The Catholic church in Lanesville held her funeral conducted by Father Peckskamp. She was 83 years 3 months 12 days old and widow of William Dowdle. Survived by seven children and two siblings. Coroner Wise ruled death from organic heart disease after inquest.
