Death of Mrs Sappenfield in Newberry Indiana
Mrs. Sappenfield widow of Rev. J M G Sappenfield died at her Newberry home in August 1909 after years of illness. Married in 1863 she was mother of nine children and survived by her husband two sons who were pastors at Mt Solomon church near Corydon. Funeral held at Evangelical Lutheran church of Newberry conducted by Rev M L Wagner of Dayton Ohio.

Death of Walter Hamilton in Posey township
Walter Hamilton died at his home in Posey township last Saturday morning about ten o clock after a long illness of tuberculosis. Funeral services were held Sunday morning at the Elizabeth Presbyterian church by Rev Barrow and the remains were interred in Elizabeth cemetery. He was twenty seven and left a widow two small children his father mother five brothers and three sisters.

Charles Marchery Dies at 54 in Spencer Township
Charles Marchery died at his home in Spencer township last Thursday at age 54 of kidney trouble after several months illness. The funeral was held Friday in Moberly with Rev. N. M. Rumbley. He leaves a widow and an adopted daughter, plus two brothers Isaac Marchery of Kansas and A JD Marchery of Illinois. He was a highly respected citizen with many friends.
