The National Editorial Association gathered in Hot Springs Arkansas from April 15 for a week long session. Delegates from all states and territories discussed all aspects of newspaper work and praised the visit. Next year’s meeting will be in Omaha with tours to Yellowstone Park. The funeral occurred April 24 at Milltown under Odd Fellows supervision with Elder S R Grubb delivering the sermon. A Gregg Lodge committee Alver Ward C H Ginkins Fred Ball Ben Pearson joined the procession to Milltown.
A meeting of 50 to 60 local business leaders established a Corydon commercial club. Prof. Hallett chaired. H. B. Chilecote elected president. W. J. Bullett vice president. Emery H. Breeden secretary. Wm. Ridley treasurer. Nine directors named to guide the effort to boost town and county business interests.
